FINAL CLASS PROJECT
Preliminary Thoughts re. a possible project:
Production Schedule for "Boxes" (we need to find a title..)

- Project description:
in writing, no more than one page, please email it to me beforehand if at all possible! - I understamd that your final structure and the sounds inhabiting it will probably differ from this first description , but this draft should include a general description and focus of experimentation.
- Sketch of structure (drawing / specs)
- Who will be main persons working on project (though it is expected that everyone will help out on all the projects whether by helping with building the boxes, the labelling, contributing sounds..)
- A short statement describing your intent - Describte the relationship between the structure (boxes), sounds and the site (lobby) - What are you exploring? What is the physical relationship between viewer /listener and the objects (they need to step in, they do not discover any sounds unless they get very close, they need to crawl under the box, put it on their head... )
- Sample of sounds to be inserted in structure (no more than two short samples, these are just preliminary sounds, a direction - to be played in class)
- Description of technology needed: Rolentstar, piezo resonator, speakers, amplifier, AC, batteries ...?
- Nov.30 Lab time / Final touches / Presentation to class / (Laetitia will be there after class for help)
- Still need to find out when the project will be presented - week of the 2nd or week of the 9th?
