Class Requirements & Grading

Course Requirements:  

1. Students are expected to be on time and present during both class sessions (attendance is taken at beginning of each session)
2. Email Laetitia when absent with reason for absence.
3. Students are expected to catch up by looking at class schedule and log.
4. Repeated absences throughout semester will significantly drop   grade (no matter how successful final project is).
5. After three unexplained consecutive absences, student may be required to drop the class.
6. Purchase required materials to complete assignments and projects (list & cost   provided at beginning of semester and available on class website)
7. Complete assignments and mid-term project on time.
8. Participate actively in weekly class discussions and critiques.  
9. Written proposal for final project, preliminary presentation and completed final project by due dates.

Grading:

1. •  punctuality, attendance and participation in class (40% )
2. •  timely completion of assignments (30 %)
3. •  final project (30%).
