What actually happened... (when I remember)
August 29 :Presentation of syllabus / Questionnaire / Shopping List / Jsun's Max-MSP demo / Laetitia's demo of the rigged briefcase and brief introduction to Max-Msp
September 5: Students' intro - Listened to a piece by john bischoff (done with Max-msp) - An introduction of some of the elements found in the max palette (the object, number, message, horizotal fader, signal fader, preset, breakpoint function editor). Creating a patch - "Bird" patch - Class jam with the bird patch.
September 12: Laetitia presents her lady's glove - an introduction to sensors and how they interface to max - MAX-MSP: various sound generators; Amplitude modulation.
September 19: hmmm.. forgot to enter the log..
September 26: Andrew's presentation
October 3: Students performed their patches (great!) - Laetitia showed some mapping techniques (zmap, scale, tables, function editor)- Mapping velocity.
October 10: intro to electronics
October 17:building analog circuits
October 24: laetitia absent - jsun took over - Class test - more soldering - work on max-msp
October 31: students soldered / some completed the analog circuits - answers for tests - back to max-msp: creating bpatchers.
