Attendance & Grading

Attendance: Start class on time! Attendance will be taken at the beginning of both sessions. If students are often late, miss two consecutive classes without reasons, or attend class sporadically they will will be required to drop the class.

Please e-mail Laetitia when you know you will miss a class, with a good reason (if sick that day please email the following day.) Student will be responsible to catch up on class topics & assignments (check with other students and look at the class website, I will try to keep a log of what was actually covered during class.)

Grading: Grading is based on:

• punctuality, attendance and participation in class (40% )
• completing the assignments on time (30 %)
• final project (30%).

Please note that sporadic attendance, repeated tardiness and low participation in class will directly affect the grades, no matter how "great" your final project is!
