FINAL PROJECT

The project can be all analog circuits, Max-MSP performance and/ or installation, Hybrid Systems (the best ): analog electronics / sensors interfaced with Max-MSP.

In all cases, the system you create should allow for interaction by user and/or public, or external elements (light for instance). Interface cannot be the built-in computer keyboard or mouse!

Collaborations are encouraged!

Schedule:

• Wednesday, November 22: Written proposal to Laetitia
• Wednesday, December 6: Presentation of rough projects to the class for feedback /comments.
• Wednesday, December 13: Public presentation

Written Proposal (if possible not more than one page) should include:

1. a general description of your idea (installation, performance....)
2. What makes your idea interesting and how it departs from work you have previously done
3. How it incorporates what you learnt in class
4. How you, or the public will interact with the system
5. What technology you will be using (and what equipment you will need)
6. Do not assume I know what you are talking about, think of how you would need to present your idea to a gallery / performance place.
